Alternative country meets rockabilly revival meets California guitar virtuosity in the music of Rosie Flores.
Since the late '70s, guitarist, singer, and songwriter Rosie Flores has been an important figure on the alternative country scene in both Austin and Los Angeles. She's a hard-working, independently minded artist who's well-respected for her gritty, energetic vocals and fiery guitar solos.
Having won awards in rockabilly and honky tonk, she has recently begun to write original blues numbers which have all the guitar mastery, unique vocals and legendary sound you expect from this Working Girl's Guitar.
Kid Ramos is an Orange County treasure, a versatile guitar prodigy with all the work ethic, experience and creativity that have earned him numerous awards, session work and acclaim all over the world.
Ramos' teenage son Johnny is now coming of age where he has his own following in a remarkable rockabilly blues format, with his pure voice and natural presence taking over the stage. The addition of Kid Ramos' lead guitar makes the father-son experience delightful.
When you add 15-year old Jaalene DeLeon's angelic vocals to this compelling mix, it vaults the show to new levels of magic. Her covers of classic rockabilly and pop are easy to embrace, and her own relaxed stage presence belies her young age.
